After the phoenix temple, there are two pedestrian bridges from where we wanted to admire the view on the river. But the river was in flood, and the security agents urged us to cross without delay. The island in the middle was partly submerged, and the flow of the river was very strong... Anyway, Uji is a very pretty neighbourhood with lots of things to see, and we will have to return there.
