Die Motorworld in Köln, ein Mekka der Autoenthusiasten, vor allem der besonders teuren ihrer Art. Menschen die ihre Träume schauen möchten. Nicht immer sind die Autos gut präsentiert. Um außergewöhnliche Bilder anzufertigen bedarf es dann ein bisschen mehr als „nur“ einen außergewöhnlichen Film einzupacken. Ich gehe mit Doppelpack, stecke also das Lensbaby Double Glass II (50mm Brennweite) mit ein. Sicher ist sicher! Dabei konzentriere ich mich, wegen des Publikumsandrang, weitgehenst auf Details! Die vollständigen Autos müssen die anderen schießen. Früher habe ich unzählige Lensbabys mit der Minolta Dynax 9 angefertigt. Das Belichtungssystem war besonders ausgefeilt. To create exceptional images, it takes a little more than "just" packing an exceptional roll of film. I go with a double pack, so I pack the Lensbaby Double Glass II (50mm focal length). Better safe than sorry! Because of the crowds, I concentrate largely on details! The others have to shoot the complete cars. I used to take countless Lensbaby shots with the Minolta Dynax 9. The exposure system was particularly sophisticated. The FE2's could keep up.
Pregnant women and lactating mothers together with their children visited the interactive exhibit we set up for the town of Maco. Most of them came all the way from far flung barangays. Maco is largely an agricultural town that boasts of its banana plantations. The area was selected primarily due to low number of women accessing reproductive health services. My artist-friends and I trained barangay health workers to facilitate interaction with folks visiting the exhibit area.
