Cafe' Racer - Tragedy in Seattle

I took these shots outside of Cafe' Racer, the site of a tragic shooting where four amazing, creative people were shot dead by a mentally disturbed man a few weeks ago. Cafe' Racer has been a hub for artists, musicians, writers, and performers. It has long been one of my most favorite places to hang out with friends, draw, journal, listen to great music, play games, drink beer, and generally soak in the creative energy of the place.

These shots show the flowers, notes, and pictures that are piled in front of the cafe' from a community in mourning. I can only hope that Cafe' Racer rises again and washes away the bad energy that has descended on this fantastic and unique place.
